Legend Productions Music Permissions Policy

Please remember it is against the law to duplicate or make copies of our cassettes and CDs, or to download them freely from the Internet.

Until further notice, Legend does permit all Girl Scouts to publicly perform the Recordings and Music, in connection with all Girl Scout-related events as long as there is no money being collected for the event. You may reprint the words (only) to these same songs in the programs and/or teaching materials used for these events. We also permit the Recordings and the Music to be used over Girl Scout council phone systems (which many use already) and video/DVD formats that promote Girl Scouting, as long as said video and DVD recordings are NOT used to collect money. Please be aware that Legend does NOT own, and therefore cannot grant permission to use or reprint the words to certain songs which appear on the Recordings and which are listed below. Should you wish to publicly perform (for profit) any of these songs, the publisher or songwriter MUST be contacted directly. (You may contact us for their information.)
